This hot August in Poland is rich in music venues for every demanding music fan. If you are wondering where to catch intriguing, aspiring and provocative vibes - take a break and go to the capital of Silesian Voivodeship in Poland, Katowice, to experience tree-days music feast. OFF Festival happened for the first time in 2006 out of eager not to be appreciated by majority, but to provoke people to ask questions, to make dialog, to inspire and to put into a flutter.
Despite its middle-size, OFF Festival can offer not only picturesque location in the heart of the nature among three ponds, but also fabulous line-up on the same level as big European festivals could offer. The festival will be consisting of several music scenes, campground, big food area and playground for children. If you are cycling enthusiast you can come to the festival by bike and safely leave it before entrance. This year brings mind-shaking line-up to the festival: JARVIS COCKER - the master of all Brit-Rock fans, amazing SUEDE, FOALS, the return of STEREOLAB, LEBANON HANOVER, NENEH CHERRY and lots of young explosive bands such as Ammar 808, Octavian, Jakuzi and PHUM VIPHURIT. Don't forget to explore the city of Katowice, it is extremely friendly to festival goers and full of places worth visiting.
