Emil Bulls - “X-Mas Bash” Tour 2019 - Support: Annisokay, Grizzly, Improvement
EMIL BULLS and the X-Mas Bash: This is a couple that now belongs together like nitro and glycerine. All around the Christmas holidays, the guys around Christoph von Freydorf celebrate a little quiet but much hotter night. Long traditions should be questioned regularly, and so the Munich launched a test balloon last year and celebrated their demolition both in their hometown and in Hamburg. After the sensational success and the enormous demand the “X-Mas Bash” goes on tour in 2019. Six stations in Germany will then become the EMIL BULLS area and the boys will have the album ‘Mixtape’, which was released in May, with them.
For almost two and a half decades, the band has successfully asserted itself in the hard music business and has always consistently gone its own way. Without emboldening any fast-paced trends, the troupe has refined its instantly recognizable signature sound and, in recent years, has earned the status of one of the most original, popular and successful formations within the Metal scene - well beyond any stylistic plate borders. With their upcoming album, EMIL BULLS once again prove to be one of the most versatile and positively unpredictable bands in their genre: on the cover collection ‘Mixtape’, the quintet has given its own personal favourite songs from Rock and Pop a fresh metallic physique and turned it into neck-breaking Heavy Metal rebuilt versions.
The combo does not shy away from non-specialist genres and has songs by BILLY IDOL or THE PIXIES as well as covers by EMINEM FEAT. ED SHEERAN (‘River’), BRUNO MARS (‘Grenade’) and ‘Survivor’ of DESTINY’S CHILD made in a Metal version. But basically, winter is not so much about what EMIL BULLS play. The “X-Mas Bash” is the best reason to look forward to the pre-Christmas season, having a great, memorable evening with friends and the EMIL BULLS family, ending the year with one of the best live bands.
