This tour will be all the more special for BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE and TRIVIUM as they celebrate and play their superb album from 2005 ‘The Poison’ and ‘Ascendancy’ in its entirety.
BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE‘s ‘The Poison’ and TRIVIUM ‘s ‘Ascendancy’ are two albums whose influence can still be felt today - in the DNA of modern Metal. They were both lightning bolts. The two bands grew up independently of each other, in different countries and away from any movement or scene, but they both shared a common love of melodic heavy metal; and they both experienced similar meteoric rises from the moment they came out.
TRIVIUM and BFMV were in such a whirlwind when their respective albums came out that they never really had a chance to play together or celebrate during the maelstrom of touring, recording and traveling the world. But that’s what this anniversary tour is. It’s a celebration by the bands for the fans of an important era, and more importantly, it’s an invitation for fans to come and spend an epic night with us, singing along, going wild and celebrating the awesome power of music. Released in 2005, the impact of these two albums on the evolution of modern metal is undeniable.
Supporting the night is the Melodic Death Metal / Groove Metal band from Eskjö, Sweden, ORBIT CULTURE.
