FÏX8:SËD8 have announced their return to the stages with the “Lessons in Humility 2025” tour this autumn with fourteen dates in their native Germany as well as one show each in Belgium, Poland, and Switzerland. The German Dark Electro act will be touring in support of their upcoming next album ‘Octagram’. Label mates 2ND FACE and also DATA VOID will join the road trip as support bands on many dates as well as more opening acts. The latest release of FÏX8:SËD8 is a luxurious artbook containing the remastered first two albums entitled ‘humanophobia:dormicum’, which hit stores on September 6, 2024. FÏX8:SËD8 have reissued their first two albums under the title ‘humanophobia:dormicum’ as a lavish artbook. This edition includes three bonus tracks, of which one has never been published previously. In order to understand the images used in album art, it should be remembered that the concept of ‘humanophobia’ was inspired by FÏX8:SËD8 mastermind Martin Sane visiting the former Cambodian concentration camp S-21 (“Security Office 21”). Between the years 1975 to 1979 the Khmer Rouge regime imprisoned and tortured citizens believed to resist the extremist communist ideology in the compound. It has been estimated that up to 2 of the 7 million inhabitants of Khmer Rouge controlled Cambodia were murdered.
