Helloween - “40 Years Anniversary Tour” - Very Special Guest: Beast In Black
In 2021, the legendary Hamburg band returned with their sixteenth, self-titled album, ‘Helloween’, and their seven-piece line-up. This caused a global metal earthquake, with the album cracking the #1 spot in the charts in several countries and being frenetically celebrated by fans and experts alike. In 2022 and 2023, the triumphant live tour continued, with 60 emotional concerts in 30 countries leaving nothing to be desired. Highlights included headlining at Wacken, performing in Los Angeles and New York, and playing at the Monsters of Rock festivals in South America. Their first sold-out gig at the legendary Budokan in Tokyo moved over 800,000 fans and the reunited band members to tears of joy and sweat. This can be relived on the live CD and Blu-ray/DVD ‘Live At Budokan’, released on 13 December 2024.
With these highlights under their belt, HELLOWEEN are entering their anniversary year and celebrating 40 years of band and Metal history. While working intensively on the follow-up to their sensational reunion album, Andi Deris, Michael Kiske, Michael Weikath, Kai Hansen, Markus Grosskopf, Sascha Gerstner and Dani Löble have announced a superlative anniversary tour. Bassist and founding member Markus Grosskopf explains: “We’ve come up with some great surprises for the fans. In addition to performing brand new songs live for the first time, we’ll also play tracks from our history that haven’t been heard live in a long time, or never before. The shows will be a fantastic experience for all of us!”
Frontman Andi Deris adds, “We’re having incredible fun with the creative work in the studio, and the album promises to be an absolute highlight. But nothing in the world can compare to a HELLOWEEN concert - the energy of our audience is simply indescribable, and we can’t wait to finally give it our all with the fans again! The upcoming tour will be bigger, better and more impressive than ever!”
The live dates kick off on 17 October 2025 in Luxembourg and will take HELLOWEEN across Europe for six weeks. The flight cases contain not only the fresh material from the as-yet-untitled new LP, but also the setlists of the successful Finnish Metal band BEAST IN BLACK. As “Very Special Guests”, they are set to ensure another stellar performance. In the first half of 2026, they will play dates in Asia, South America and North America, before making it clear at Europe’s biggest festivals in the summer of ‘26 that the “glorious seven” are still firing on all cylinders, even after 40 years.
