howard jones germany2025British Electro-Pop pioneer and chart-topper HOWARD JONES is embarking on a major European tour in autumn 2025 to celebrate the 40th anniversary of his groundbreaking album ‘Dream Into Action’. Following several successful US tours, the musician returns to Germany for the first time in many years. The tour kicks off in Augsburg on 18 October and will take Jones and his band to seven German cities, including Cologne, Hamburg and Berlin.

Released in 1985, ‘Dream Into Action’ is one of the milestones of Electronic Pop music and spawned international hits such as ‘Things Can Only Get Better’, ‘No One Is to Blame’ and ‘Like to Get to Know You Well’. The album peaked at number two in the UK and landed in the Top 10 in the USA. Thanks to recent pop culture appearances - such as in the Netflix series ‘Stranger Things’ – Jones’ songs are currently enjoying a new wave of popularity.

“This album was made on the road - on tour buses, in dressing rooms, everywhere. You can feel the energy in the songs,” says Jones. Today, he continues to thrill audiences with rousing live shows that have fans of all generations singing along, from long-time companions to curious Gen Z listeners. “It means a lot to me that the music still touches so many people after all these years,” says the singer, who has performed with Stevie Wonder and Herbie Hancock at the Grammys and at the legendary Live Aid concert in 1985.

Jones, one of the most successful British artists of the 1980s with over 10 million albums sold worldwide, remains a passionate performer at the age of 70: “I see myself as an encourager. We all need a push sometimes to make our dreams come true.”
