The unique festival Leyendas Del Rock, held annually at the beginning of August in Villena, Spain, celebrates its 20th anniversary this year and brings together legendary Rock and Metal bands from all over the world, uniting thousands of fans under hot Spanish skies. This is one of the most anticipated heavy music events in Spain - each year, more than 40,000 metalheads from over 50 countries get together to become part of rock history and experience 4 days of non-stop, powerful live performances.
In 2026, over 50 bands from across Europe, North and South America, and Australia will share 3 stages during 4 days - on August 5, 6, 7, and 8. Let’s take a brief look at this year’s lineup and see which performances fans will enjoy in less than two months.
Day I
Legendary SAVATAGE, SLAUGHTER TO PREVAIL, and SEPULTURA are expected to open up the festival with their exclusive performances in Spain. Later that day, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY, ORBITCULTURE, THUNDERMOTHER, TAILGUNNER, and others will set the stage on fire, getting the crowd ready for the next three days of heavy music and festival vibes.
Day II
The 2nd day of the festival will feature ARCH ENEMY, DARK TRANQUILLITY, GODSMACK, CREEPER, D'ARTAGNAN, NORTHLANE, MUSHROOMHEAD and others. In fact, Leyendas Del Rock will become GODSMACK’s first-ever live performance in Spain, while SEPULTURA will say goodbye with their farewell show on the first day of the festival.
Day III
On August 7, Swedish Melodic Death Metal giants IN FLAMES will electrify the main stage after a 4-year absence from Spain with an exclusive festival appearance. On this day, they will share the spotlight with legendary STRATOVARIUS, SAUROM, SARATOGA, FUTURE PALACE, THE BABOON SHOW, DARK MOOR, BLAZE OUT, and other bands.
Day IV
The final day of the festival will be especially memorable for fans of Power Metal icons HELLOWEEN as the band celebrates their 40th anniversary this year. During the last night, WARCRY, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, EIHWAR, ANKHARA, DEICIDE, CHEZ KANE, and other bands will bring the festival to a spectacular close, leaving the crowd with unforgettable memories of these four days of pure Metal.
