Interpol, Surfer Blood
Not so long ago the guys of INTERPOL finally released their fourth, self-titled, album. An album that in part returns to old glories, established with ‘Turn On The Bright Lights’, but never neglecting the influences that came with the following records underpinned their status as a cult band. But the album also marks Carlos Dengler’s last effort with the band and there’s been quite some talk as to this being the supposedly last INTERPOL album.
But even with such an important member having parted ways with the former band, you shouldn’t solely condition the further existence of a band on one member. INTERPOL will go their way which on 22nd November will first lead them to Dortmund as one of two shows in Germany this year before the band returns in spring. A special experience not to be missed!
