The US-American rock band MAROON 5 arose from the band 'KARA'S FLOWERS', founded in 1994. Currently, the band composes of singer and guitarist Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael (keyboard, guitar), Mickey Madden (E-bass), James Valentine (guitar) and Matt Flynn (drums). The band became known in this country with their 2002 full-length album 'Songs About Jane'. Ever since, they sold more than 15 million records and received numerous awards. In September 2010 they published with 'Hands All Over' their third album as MAROON 5.
Starting in February 2011, they’re going travel through Germany, accompanied by Californian singer and songwriter SARA BAREILLES. On 6th March 2011 they will perform at Muffathalle in Munich.
