With the highly regarded debut album in the back, the task to present a proper follow-up. But POLARKREIS 18 easily ignored all the pressuring and with ‘The Colour Of Snow’ presented a worthy sophomore full of rich textures and emotional urgency, holding the anthem ‘Allein, Allein’ which became a major hit for the group.
The album of course has been supported by a little tour. Then it was about time to head back to the studio to start recording the next strike which we now know as ‘Frei’, an album that raised equally negative as well as positive reactions. Seems like that one’s become one of those lovers or haters records! Anyway, the band is going to tour several cities in Germany to present the album in detail and either you like the new album or not, if you choose to attend one it’s sure to become an unforgettable evening.
