The RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are a Californian Alternative Rock band founded in 1983. They count to the commercially most successful representatives of the crossover genre. They managed the final breakthrough in 1991 with the album ‘Blood Sugar Sex Magik’. Nevertheless, their album most successful up to now is 'Californication' being released in 1999.
After many crises and separations, 2011 now again is a good year for the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS: After 2006 their new album ‘I'm With You’ was published 26th of August 2011. Furthermore, the band announced 5 live appointments for this autumn; on the 5th of December, 2011 they'll play in Munich's Olympic hall. The line-up now includes the new guitarist Josh Klinghoffer who has stepped into the place of John Frusciante.
