New Waves DayCelebrated one time, already established. The New Waves Day celebrated its outstanding premiere in Oberhausen in 2017 and brought scene heroes like THE MISSION to the stage in front of thousands of fans. On May 26, 2018, the organizers will even top it and present a line-up which will make every fan of the alternative 80s into raptures. Pop & Wave meets Punk and Industrial. Also this year's line-up proves impressively: The New Waves Day is the long-awaited counterweight to the many alternative events, which are dominated by electronic sounds, unholy hit and medieval songs.

celebratingbowie berlin2018“The shows had a magic because our intent was to celebrate David with as much love and respect as we could. So many lovely artists from all around the globe contributed and I loved all seven shows as each musician and artist brought their own way of self-expression.” – Mike Garson, 2017

With critically and audience-acclaimed shows earlier this year, “Celebrating David Bowie” returns to the stage in 2018 with a tour through Europe and North America. With them, they have a brand new show centered around the question, “What would David Bowie's Tour Setlist look like in 2018?”, “Celebrating David Bowie” sees itself as more than a mere homage to this very special musician.

wednesday13_tour2017After their acclaimed performance at this year's Wave Gotik Treffen, WEDNESDAY 13 will be touring though Germany in November. The American kings of the Horror Punk released their new album ‘Condolences’ in June 2017. It is already the 7th studio album of the band of Joseph Poole, the former singer of the band MURDERDOLLS. Just two days after Halloween, they will continue to celebrate it by making the clubs boiling! ‘Condolences’ is strongly Metal influenced, a fact that will certainly continue to expand the band’s fan base. The tour will be supported by DIABLO BLVD.

heathernova promo2017The fans will be happy! For her next tour in 2017, Heather Nova has come up with something special, she is on tour with her masterpiece ‘Oyster’ from 1994. The songwriter will play her most famous and popular album complete with band accompaniment in eight German cities. In addition, there will be more pearls from Heather Nova’s feather to marvel.

Mera Luna 2017Black but unbelievably colourful: Since 2000, the M’era Luna festival at the airfield Hildesheim-Drispenstedt is the meeting spot of the black scene from all over Europe. Every year well over 40 bands make sure that the 25,000 guests experience an unforgettable weekend. Of course, music from genres such as goth rock, electro, medieval rock or metal are in the focal point – but most of the extravagantly dressed guests conceive the always sold-out festival as more of a family meeting. And there really is more than music to discover – be it a medieval market, a fashion show, lectures or black disco nights. Additionally, guests may delve into a wide range of different foods that far surpass the usual festival fair. In addition to fried classics, the food court offers savoury and sweet dishes from all over the world.
