Release Date for 'Im Auge des Sturms' is setRight at the perceived beginning of spring comes the third newsletter of the year. And here at the very first comes the main news: The new album „Im Auge des Sturms" („In the Eye of the Storm") will be released on August 29th 2014 by the band's long time label partner Drakkar! At the end of summer the band will present an album to you, which will be different from its predecessors. LETZTE INSTANZ completely changed theirway of composing, always striving for a true, clear, rocking sound.
Never before did they rehearse that much and that intense!
Never before did all of them work together on the lyrics!
Never before did they work so close on our songwriting!
The band is already sure: it will rock in the eye of the storm! Right now they are in the studio to record the album. David was the first to finish his drum tracks in February, to guide them through and into the songs. Throughout March Oli, Holly, Micha, Schwibs and Benni will continue to record their tracks, to let the already great pre-productions become real Letzte Instanz songs! With Andraj, their graphic guy and lighting engineer, they work together on the CD artwork. As soon as it´s done, they will present the results to you, to increase our common pleasant anticipation for the event of the year! Stay tuned, as we do, we keep you posted!
Holly D. leaves the band
After the good news we come to some less good ones: Holly d. declared to leave to band and asked LETZTE INSTANZ to release the following statement [German!]:
Liebe Fans, liebe Wegbegleiter,
die folgenden Zeilen bin ich Euch schuldig und ich bitte Euch im Voraus um Verständnis. Leben ist Entwicklung, ist Bewegung, ist auch Veränderung. Deshalb habe ich mich entschieden mein Baby LETZTE INSTANZ nach 17 Jahren frei zu geben und meine Energie in Zukunft anderen Dingen zu widmen. Ich wünsche Holly, Benni, Rico, Oli, Micha und David viel Kraft für die neuen Herausforderungen und noch viele emotionale Konzerte mit den besten Fans der Welt. Ich möchte mich bei allen bedanken, die mich durch gute und weniger gute Zeiten begleitet haben. All die Begegnungen, Momente, Gespräche, Biere haben mich viel gelehrt und immer ein Stück weiter gebracht. Fühlt Euch umarmt und legt hin und wieder auch noch mal die alten Instanz-Scheiben in den Player.
