Since their foundation about 10 years ago, EISBRECHER have grown more and more famous in Germany and far beyond. Their album ‘Schock’ reached No. 2 on the German media control charts and their latest tour even took them to countries like Finland and Russia. Their stoic beats, their pure, hard riffs mixed with lyrics on society issues, their very special ulterior wordplay and the congenial ability to take themselves not too seriously, make them unique in the German music scene far beyond borders of genre and style.
When they entered the stage of the Munich located Circus Krone on June 3rd 2015 to record their first concert film, they lifted the myth and fascination that has always been connected with the magical world of the circus arena to a new level. On this day they turned the old halls of this time-honoured location into an arctic sea of frenetically celebrating fans. The DVD and Blue Ray ‘Schock – Live’, which is up to be released on September the 26th, will contain the full concert recorded on this day, an one hour documentary on the band as well as current video clips.
