Two years after the successful 'The Formulas of Death' an album that gave to TRIBULATION a contract with Century Media the Swedish are back with new material under the title 'The Children Of The Night'. In this album we have less Black Metal influences and more Classic Metal, Progressive even Punk elements. In 'The Children Of The Night' we will find up tempo tracks like 'In the Dreams of the Dead', tracks with Punk elements like 'Melancholia', low tempo doom-ish tracks like 'Strains of Horror' or 'Music from the Othe' and progressive like 'Holy Liberations'. The album is full of very good guitar melodies something that we had not at 'The Formulas of Death'. About the production of the album, it's good but I think it could be better. I don't know maybe the band wanted through the production to give an old school feeling.
Conclusion: TRIBULATION seems like a band that don't stop evolve their sound, something which is good and I believe they have to show a lot in future.
