Nine years after their last full length album 'Wipe Out - Burn Down - Annihilate', TOLCHOCK (ex-TOLCHOCK 14,they changed as TOLCHOCK in the 90's) from Sweden are back with 'Elements Of Rage'. In this album TOLCHOCK seems that they returned back to their EBM roots but don't expect classic uni-variant ΕΒΜ. In this album you will find Industrial influences, guitars and also elements from bands like PRODIGY and NINE INCH NAILS. The good combination of male and female vocals is something which adds one more positive point to the album. Best tracks for me are 'Time to Breath' a song suitable for the dance-floors, 'Made To Break' in which you can listen the NIN influences, the catchy 'Down In The Hole' and 'Sexreflektor', a mixture of EBM and PRODIGY. The album also contains four good remixes on three album tracks (there are two remixes of Time To Breath'), remixes from MACHINISTA, BIOMEKKANIK, RED MECCA and BLIPP.
Conclusion: It took them 9 years to release a new album but they released one of their best albums with music variety and good sound.
