MAJESTY is a traditional heavy metal band in the spirit of MANOWAR. The band hails from Germany and was formed in 1997 by Tarek Maghary (vocals 1997 - present) and Udo Keppner (guitar 1997 - 2004). They played a few gigs and festivals and soon had the opportunity to record a studio album (Tarek inherited some money from his late grandfather, which made it possible to record professional). 2002 the recorded their official debut ‘Sword And Sorcery’ for record company Massacre Records. ‘Banners High’ is the 7th studio album of MAJESTY. The musical arrangement is truly epic and recommended for every fan of MANOWAR, Tarek’s voice is refreshing for everyone who is not already accustomed with this band (European power metal often sounds alike when it comes to vocalists).
Conclusion: I hereby state that everyone that ever liked a MANOWAR song should give this guys a listen...NOW!
