Released a year ago (sorry… I’m late), ‘What Kind Of A Friend’ is a single taken from the album ‘Smoke And Mirrors’. And as usual with TENEK: BIG production, catchy melodies and great performance. What else? Three versions of ‘What Kind Of A Friend’: The Radio Edit, The hard hitting powerhouse Grayed Out Remix by Andy Gray and the dark atmospheric Miami Odyssey Synthporn Mix by Martin Swan from Vile Electrodes. An added bonus is the inclusion of a re-mastered track, ‘Sombre Friday’ (Alternate Mix by Geoff Pinckney himself) that originally appeared on TENEK’s first album. This instrumental is a nice ending track to this EP that is definitely worth it.
Conclusion: Definitely a must have for Synth Pop fans!
