With ‘Her Light’ comes the debut CD of BLUE IMAGES who are located in New York. They directly get supported by Reagan Jones of IRIS and Jürgen Engler of DIE KRUPPS. Not every band is that lucky to have such great names on their first album. So, it’s no wonder that the first track I want to name is ‘Don’t forget me’ which is feat. Reagan Jones, followed by ‘Great Unknown’. The whole CD is a flawless Synth Pop album influenced by WOLFSHEIM or SEABOUND. ‘Forgotten’ is the next pearl of the album and that’s not all it surprises us also with some German lyrics. Awesome! Next personal tip is ‘Tonight’, a danceable and solid Synth Pop track with a great voice. Next song I want to mark for you is ‘False Illusion’ of course. That is the song feat. Jürgen Engler and it is of course a great song.
Conclusion: ‘Her Light’ is a great and flawless Synth Pop album with a lot surprises and BLUE IMAGES is a band we could be curious about.
