TAILGUNNER is a brand new Heavy Metal band formed in 2021. After MIDNIGHT PROPHECY’s untimely demise in 2020 the gods of Heavy Metal showed mercy and graced us with new heroes for the post pandemic times. Upon hearing that Craig Cairns of MIDNIGHT PROPHECY fame was on to something new I got high hopes. After listening to ‘Guns For Hire’ for a dozen times I am sure as fuck that these guys really do bring the fire. Cairns is in phenomenal shape and his companions are tight as well. The riffs and melodies of Zach Salvini and Patrick van der Völlering are what you need to forge excellent songs with and the bass of Tom Hewson and the drums of Sam Caldwell are up to the task of rounding everything up to sound really hot. I, for one cannot await more of these guys.
Conclusion: If you like bands like MIDNIGHT PROPHECY, ENFORCER or STEELWING you will love this!
