After their latest release, the EP ‘Imprévisible’ in April, the French CELLULOIDE is back with ‘Ordinosaure’, a CD that consists of covers of the homonymous song. Whatever freshness existed in the ‘Imprévisible’ is not to be found here. In ‘Ordinosaure’, the remixes exist only for one purpose; so the audience shall not forget the name of the band. The remix that stands out is the N/L mix which is not only better than the original song but offers you the only reason whatsoever to purchase the CD. It has a quasi futuristic pop aspect which can stand next to the KRAFTWERK’s songs without shame and it is danceable and charming. As for the rest I prefer to listen to ZLAD’s ‘Elektronik Supersonik’, which is what I’ll do just about now.
