COVERED FACES is a project of Pablo Lázaro Vidal aka Paibol, who has brought out a single entitled as ‘Lobiep’. His music is said to be inspired by “classical horror movies, road movies and video game music. They are based on psychokiller rhythms and sci-fi melodies”. It feels like an 80’s inspired fun party for the very young, it has a feel of weird playfulness and simple humour. In a way, exactly in that lays its fun. It has this feel of kitsch, minutely enjoyable but ultimately bound for “forgot-you’ve-ever-heard-it” category.
