Album Review
ENTER AND FALL started in 2008 in Germany as an EBM band with synth pop influences in their sound. Founding members are Daniel Diaz Gonzalez and David Goldammer. In the beginning of 2012 Daniel left the band, after that David decided to make the band's sound a little bit harder with help from Sven Heyne on guitar. After this change in the line up the time for the release of their debut album has come. The album is titled ‘Push Enter And Fall Down’ and it is coming as a double CD. The first CD is the album and the second is a CD with remixes from ENTER AND FALL to bands such as [:SITD:], POLAROID KISS and more also it contains remixes on three of the album tracks. About the album we can say that is an album with EBM elements mainly but also with some melodic synth pop influences. Some tracks like ‘Push Enter and Fall Down’ or ‘So Bye Bye’ for sure will hit the dance-floors and some others like ‘So Much to See’ are having some catchy melodies. The negative parts of the album in my opinion are first the vocals. I think David must try to improve them he sounds like a more angry copy of Peter Spilles (in the latest PROJECT PITCHFORK albums) and second some songs like ‘Running Out’ or ‘Beat Conductor’ are not so interesting. I think David has many good ideas and if he improve his weak points the second album will be much better.
