Album Review

Just in time for the cold season of the year here comes a band that is really worth to listen to. Reminding me a little bit like a huge mix of all the good stuff from over the past years beginning with The Cure, The Smiths, The (International) Noise Conspiracy, Weezer, dEUS, Death Cab for a Cutie, Kings of Leon and…and…and… EXPATRIATE is a really winsome band that persuades you by playing solid songs, great composing and a beautiful clear voice. Seriously, I’m quite not capable to expose only one song. It’s the complete works driving you to thoughtful days and nights.

So, it’s no wonder at all that the band was main supporting dEUS and PLACEBO in summer, as well as playing a number of the major European festivals including Nova Rock, Werchter and Rockwave. They also will be performing in arenas throughout Europe in October / November as special guests to Placebo on their winter production tour. All I can say is: Buy the album - it’s really worth it.
