SUBSTAAT are a trio from Norway, they released their debut album in early 2011 which was mainly influenced from classic EBM bands. Almost one and a half year after they debut they released a three track CD single titled ‘Refused’ .In this release we see a change in their sound, they moved from EBM to synth pop. They still have some EBM elements but mainly the sound in this single is synth pop. About the songs now we have three nice catchy tracks with good sound. If you expect to find any new sounds and unusual music elements mixed with synth pop this release is not for you. If you want to listen simple but nice synth pop music you will find interesting this release.
