013, Tilburg, The Netherlands
13th November 2012
Parkway Drive, Emmure, The Word Alive, Structures
I don’t think these guys still need an introduction here in The Netherlands. For the past couple of years, PARKWAY DRIVE has visited our little country several times and each and every time they blew the audience away with their brutal energetic show. Earlier this year, the audience got a first peek into their new album during their show at the Melkweg in Amsterdam. Their fourth studio album ‘Atlas’ has just been released and this evening at 013 is one of the first opportunities to see PARKWAY DRIVE play their new work.

Skunk Anansie & The Jezabels
It is more than one year ago we saw SKUNK ANANSIE touring with her last album in Cologne, back than it was at the packed Live-Music-Hall. Now, the band is back with a new album, ‘Black Traffic’, and in the course of the supporting tour, SKUNK ANANSIE are also back in Cologne, scheduled for a bigger venue. But the choice for Palladium seemed a little oversized and so, the concert was moved to the smaller E-Werk, still bigger than the Live-Music-Hall. THE JEZABELS as support opened the evening.

Die Kammer
Be what you would seem to be - or, if you’d like it put more simply - Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would appeared to them to be otherwise.

Fear Factory, The Devin Townsend Project & Dunderbeist
November, and also this specific day, had a lot of concerts to chose from and it was not the easiest decision. But the chance to see Devin Townsend finally was the final drop to make me decode for the FEAR FACTORY – DEVON TOWNSEND PROJECT double concert, being opened by Norwegian DUNDERBEIST.

Paard van Troje, The Hague, The Netherlands
3rd November 2012
Impericon Impericon Never Say Die Tour: We Came As Romans, Bless The Fall, Stick To Your Guns, For The Fallen Dreams, Obey The Brave, At The Skylines, The Browning, At Dawn We Rage
This year’s edition of Impericon Impericon Never Say Die! Tour takes place at the Paard van Troje in The Hague and as usual, they’ve put together a line-up of hardcore, metal and metalcore. Earlier editions of this tour featured big names such as COMEBACK KID, PARKWAY DRIVE and SUICIDE SILENCE. This year it is up to WE CAME AS ROMANS, BLESS THE FALL, STICK TO YOUR GUNS and five other bands to show the Dutch audience how it’s done. I knew the concert wasn’t sold out, but I was a bit surprised that only the floor level of the hall was moderately filled when I arrived. Then again, the first band started early at 4:30 PM, so perhaps more people will come in during the evening.
