After being the singer of Dutch metal band THE GATHERING for over 13 years, Anneke van Giersbergen successfully started a solo career. In different formations (with her band AQUA DE ANNIQUE, solo or in collaborations with several other bands and artists such as Danny Cavenaugh from ANATHEMA, WITHIN TEMPTATION and Devin Townsend), Anneke managed to stay in the spotlights and show off her musical diversity. Over the years, she transformed her musical style from female fronted metal to singer songwriter and sometimes even folk-like songs. And the beauty of it is; without losing power and energy in her beautiful voice. Anneke’s new CD ‘Everything is Changing’ was released at the start of 2012. Since the release, Anneke and her band have been touring in the Netherlands and several European countries to promote the album.

Udo Lindenberg & Das Panikorchester - “Ich mach mein Ding“ Tour 2012

Don’t panic! UDO LINDENBERG rocked Halle and did his thing! This really was spectacular concert with a fireworks of musical and visual gems. For the fans, the tour was probably the most spectacular and exciting concert in his career. The tour title is Udo’s philosophy of life: “Ich mach mein Ding” (I’ll do my thing). And the “thing” this time meant an extraordinary event for ears and eyes, a tour like Udo never brought it to stage before. High expectations the press announcement rose and you can be sure that no one was disappointed! The show in Halle was sold-out! About 8,300 fans were showing up for this extraordinary concert evening.

With their 10th album ‘The Path of Totality’, nu-metal formation KORN is again taking a new path in their career. The new album combines the raw edge of the KORN sound we know with Drum N Bass and dubstep influences from producers such as SKRILLEX and NOISIA. KORN has been around for over almost 20 years now, their career seriously taking off in the nineties with the albums ‘Freak on a Leash’ and ‘Here to Stay’. Their sound has changed with every album, but has always been distinguishable with the sound that KORN stands for, although not all KORN fans would agree. KORN brought rage back into Rock music. In a time when rock scene was dominated by sleazy Brit poppers and latecomers of the Grunge movement, KORN were giving a new powerful voice to the disoriented youth overfed by the information era. The Californians were revitalising a whole genre being said to be very un-cool at the beginning of the 90s: Heavy Metal! This evening they came to Oberhausen in support of their new album ‘The Path Of Totality’.
