Apoptygma Berzerk, The Anix
APOPTYGMA BERZERK is no band to pigeonhole easily into one specific musical drawer. The name of the new baby is ‘Rocket Science’ by the way and was released on 23rd January, preceded by the single ‘Apollo (Live on Your TV) which was out since 16th January. Subsequent to the album release APOPTYGMA BERZERK embark on a tour through German, Austrian and Swiss clubs in February and on 22nd February their fans in Munich had the chance to experience a show of their heroes at Munich’s Backstage club.

Polarkreis 18
Certainly, POLARKREIS 18 is very popular these days. At the moment, the Dresden sestet is on “The Colour of Snow”-tour through Germany, and two weeks ago, the guys finished second the Bundesvision Songcontest. There is no day you can’t listen to their #1 hit ‘Allein Allein’ on the radio. The way from the rehearsal room to the German charts was not that long for the band members who started their career in 1997. It is to be assumed that no one of the involved musicians would have thought of that success. By entering some newcomer contests, the band attracted their today’s management’s interest that led to the signing of their first record contract in 2006. The guys took a lot of credit by releasing their debut album ‘Polarkreis 18’ (2007) that was followed by an extended tour. However, the breakthrough was reached by releasing the second long-player ‘The Colour of Snow’ and the hit-single ‘Allein Allein’ in 2008. http://www.polarkreis18.de/

Apoptygma Berzerk, The Anix
The Electro Rock heroes from Norway have just released the latest album ‘Rocket Science’. From February to April, they are on their tour of the same name. On 26th February 2009, they came to the Aschaffenburg Colos-Saal, supported by the US-American support-act THE ANIX and with the new album as well as a lot of hits up to their sleeves.

Rapalje
It was time for the annual Celtic Folk Night. This time it was only Rapalje but that was more than enough of course. Usually at Rapalje concerts the same people turn up but this evening there were many new faces. A great chance for the band to impress them and gain some new fans. Of course there also were some die hard fans.
