The symphonic fantasy metal band BLIND GUARDIAN not only shines with a guest appearance as brigade’s horde, but also provide the title song for the radio play five-piece ‘SACRED: Der Schattenkrieger’, the official prologue to the Ascaron game bestseller ‘Sacred 2 – Fallen Angel’. The first episode in whish BLIND GUARDIAN prove their acting talent to everyone, will be released on 12th Sep.2008 and is then available as Audio CD & 5.1 DVD edition with plenty of extras, like a BLIND GUARDIAN feature.- Details

For over five years now, we, the masterminds behind the ampler project ‘Sounds’ are already active with an own online magazine. During this time, we not only had the pleasure with the big names; and of course with the newcomers of the hard and alternative music scene, but also worked with numerous labels, bookers, festival organizers and agencies. The newcomers and underground bands always were important for us for whom we, i.e. in 2004 and 2005, provided a platform with our own festival, which was a success; with up to 350 attendees and even without a big name. For the occasion of our fifth anniversary, we want to take a big leap forward and to give bands a chance to present themselves to a bigger audience. For that reason, we’ll push out our own sampler with ‘Sounds’ not only being released through an established label but also being widely available, but we aren’t finished yet, we’re planning to promote the sampler with a broad ad campaign; and hopefully with the help of many colleagues and other magazines to attract the best possible attention to the bands.- Details

We can announce two new bands for the NCN to complete our line-up with them. FETISCH:MENSCH will play the main stage on Friday. The project around Oswald Henke will come up with new tracks from the upcoming album ‘Manchmal…’. DIE KAELTE - The second: After the band already spread cosy atmosphere when playing at last year’s bonfire, they’ll do it again this year and provide for a relaxed finish of the festival day again.

On 22nd August, the new album will hit the stores as jewel case edition with 13 tracks and as limited digi-pack with bonus DVD.
