BOY HARSHER provide the broken soundtrack of a dystopian reality, nobody else creates such intense and immersive soundscapes as the duo from Northampton, Massachusetts. Augustus Muller develops the substructure of the tracks from precise, powerful beats and sawing synths, while Jae Matthews either breathes ethereally, sings or screams her heart out. These cathartic and magnetizing tracks are a real alternative and not only became real little hits in Neo Dark Wave underground circles. As befits counterculture actors, BOY HARSHER have started their own small indie label, Nude Club Records. After the reissue of the two previous albums, their new album ‘Careful’ was released in February 2019. ‘Careful’ is about love and what it can give you: fear and joy, tenderness and pain.

Hellsinki Metal Horizons, a club festival with eyes to the horizons, scouring the metalverse for acts that you don’t see every summer around every corner - instead inviting those that delight us with their progressive complexities, their thundering technical aptitudes, their modern propensities, or their idiosyncratic quirks.Legends and rarities, favourites and oddities, Horizons is a new conceptual festival that’s here to provide an aural adventure to those longing for inspiring new flavours. The main festival event will take place June 10th-11th at Ääniwalli, in the Vallila district of Helsinki, with a warm-up club gig at downtown On The Rocks, on June 9th.

LAIBACH have announced details of a new album, ‘Wir sind das Volk (ein Musical aus Deutschland)’, due out on Mute on 25 March as a deluxe CD with extensive sleeve notes, and digitally - with the double vinyl following on 10 June 2022. The album collates music from the acclaimed theatrical production ‘Wir sind das Volk’ (“We are the People”), which premiered at Hebbel am Ufer (HAU) theatre in Berlin on 8 Feb 2020. - Details

As NINA HAGEN last published a new piece in September 2020 with ‘Unity’, the next title will be released on January 28th, 2022. It goes by the name ‘Shadrack’ and is nothing less than a kind of Electrofunk Gospel, erratic and straight forward at the same time, as only Nina Hagen can do. Nina Hagen says: “Throughout my lifetime on earth I have observed over and over again how unfortunately all too many people do not waste a ‘bit’ of time working for a more socially just world, being idolized by excessive wealth, money and property, are downright obsessed with it and don’t give a damn about the ‘big picture’, about eternal life, about the dimension that will follow the present one.”- Details

The Hamburg band THE JEREMY DAYS announce their first new album in 27 years for March 25, 2022. ‘Beauty in Broken’ will be the group’s first re-release since 1995 at eleven songs and will be released on the band’s Circushead Records label. The first pre-single of the same name, along with a video, will be released on January 28, 2022.
