On March 4, the cult band CLAWFINGER will release their new single ‘Environmental Patients’. In the song, the musicians around singer and rapper Zak Tell find more than clear words about the climate crisis. As we are used to from the Swedes, they don’t hold the mirror up to us too closely: the song is about the fact that we are all for climate protection, but quickly forget it when it comes to our own comfort zone. A lot of what we do in terms of environmental protection is much less consistent than what it needs to be to really make a difference.- Details

Following the release of her debut EP ‘Dogs and Gods’ in 2020, New Zealand-born, London-based singer & songwriter OCTOBER AND THE EYES is back with a new single ‘Spiral’, which is out now via KRO Records. October will also be playing a UK tour with YVES TUMOR this March.

Although the duo has officially disbanded, Texas Synth Pop stalwarts IRIS will reissue their 2005 masterpiece ‘Wrath’ as a lavish 2CD artbook edition and also on vinyl at a later date due to production shortages. ‘Wrath’ has been diligently remastered by Andrew Sega and contains bonus tracks and materials. The artbook will be released on April 29, 2022.

Hungarian Avant-Garde Synth Pop duo BLACK NAIL CABARET will reissue their originally self-released and therefore overlooked 2018 masterpiece ‘Pseudopop’ on Digipak CD and at a later date also on vinyl due to production shortages. ‘Pseudopop’ will include the bonus track ‘The Worm’ and the Digipak CD will be released on April 29, 2022.

Metropolis Records is thrilled to welcome the legendary UK Post-Punk act CHAMELEONS to its label roster. Long cited as a hugely influential act, having inspired the likes of (The) VERVE, OASIS, INTERPOL, THE KILLERS and EDITORS, the group was formed in Manchester in 1981 and comprised vocalist / bassist Mark Burgess, guitarists Reg Smithies and Dave Fielding, plus drummer John Lever. They released three classic albums - ‘Script of the Bridge’ (1983), ‘What Does Anything Mean?
