Founded in 1989 in Hamburg by Peter Spilles and Dirk Scheuber, PROJECT PITCHFORK are one of the most important Dark Wave formations and have gained a big fan community all over the world. Peter Spilles, who is responsible for the vocals as well as for the texts and compositions, is joined nowadays by Jürgen Jansen at the synthesizer and live members for the percussions.

Founded in 2000 by Miky Mono, Martin Engler and Carl Fornia, MONO INC. have soon gained the hearts of the Goth and Alternative community with their epic and dark Rock music. From the original members, Martin Engler (vocals) and Carl Fornia (vocals, guitar) are still part of the band, the other members are Manuel Antoni (bass, vocals) and Katha Mia (drums, vocals). In their tour, which was postponed from 2020 to 2022 due to the pandemic, they will present their newest album ‘Book of Fire’ which deals of a book of magic persecuted by the inquisition.

ROME was founded in 2005, by Jérôme Reuter, a singer and songwriter from Luxemburg. Their nowadays members are, apart from Reuter, Tom Luciani (keyboard), Patrick Kleinbauer (bass) and Laurent Fuchs (drums, percussion). Their music is often called Folk Noir or Neo Folk and mixes several influences. It is often sad and of a singular, melancholic beauty.

The band is accompanied by another artist, the Canadian Sara C. Taylor, who is living in Berlin for a couple of years and who will play her own songs as well as cover versions of famous songs of the 80s.

Addicts to middle-aged-inspired music groups have for sure encountered with the music of CULTUS FEROX, which there founded in 2002 in Berlin. Their name is Latin and there are different translations possible, e.g. “wild veneration” or “wild lifestyle”. The songs mostly deal with legends, pirates, witches and other related themes from the middle age and the early modern times.
