After the sensational success of the first concert dates to celebrate their 40th anniversary this year, TOTO have expanded their “40 Trips Around The Sun” World Tour to include more dates in 2019. The German fans can look forward to five open air concerts in June / July in outstanding venues. Only a few groups in music history, individually or in total, had a greater impact on Pop culture than the members of TOTO. As individuals, members can be heard on an overwhelming 5,000 albums, totalling a sale of half a billion albums, of which more than 200 records have been nominated for a Grammy by the National Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Legendary Australian Rock band MIDNIGHT OIL has announced that it will return to Europe for a series of shows in June / July this year. The concerts will take them to cities and venues they could not incorporate into their sensational “Great Circle” World Tour 2017, where more than 70 appearances in 16 countries have been sold out. Despite a 15-year hiatus, with front man Peter Garrett acting as Australian Government Minister, MIDNIGHT OIL reached the same phenomenal heights 2017, making them one of the most captivating live experiences of the ‘80s and ‘90s. Especially political songs such as ‘Beds Are Burning’, ‘Blue Sky Mining’ and ‘Power & The Passion’ are gaining more and more importance in the age of Trump and Brexit and received exuberant praise from critics on five continents.

Summer - it's a time that creatures of darkness prefer to spent in the shade. On a special day, though, such as July 6, we like to get out, leave our caves and coffins, and do a pilgrimage to special locations, like the Waldbühne at the monument called Hermannsdenkmal in Detmold, Germany, located in the midst of nature. What for? Of course to join in the wonderful Owls’n’Bats open air festival, which enriches the dark scene since 2014, for a truly “black celebration” in the woods of the Teutoburg Forest. This year’s line-ups once again sounds very promising.
