Her career as a singer started in the early 1980s. DORO has been a member of different Heavy Metal bands before she moved to New York in 1990. There she recorded her first solo album named after her, ‘DORO’. That was the start of an incredible solo career. She worked together with musicians like Lemmy Kilmister (MOTÖRHEAD), Floor Jansen (NIGHTWISH), Chris Boltendahl (GRAVE DIGGER), Klaus Meine and Rudolf Schenker (SCORPIONS) or Gene Simmons (KISS).
She knows them all and everybody knows her the “Queen of Heavy Metal”. At the end of February, she will start her European tour that will end in November 2020. Take the chance to see a true legend. We hope to see her in Heidelberg and if you cannot make it, we will provide you with some nice pictures and a review of her concert.
