After five years, the RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS are touring again with a new album. Short ago, it was released: ‘The Getaway’, the eleventh album of the band, showing the guys around Tour Anthony Kiedis and extra-class bassist Flea in best form. No wonder that the album, produced by no one else than Danger Mouse, entered the German album charts right away on position two. Funky bass lines, sidestepping guitar melodies, sometimes whispering, sometimes nearly rapping Kiedis – and with it always those moments when you think: “Now I should jump up and down with 100,000 others”. - Details

WHITE LIES will be releasing a new record. On ‘Friends’, the British band will continue the path, treaded with the first three albums, consequently. The debut album, ‘To lose my Life’ (2009), entering the British charts on top position, and the follower ‘Ritual’ (2013) were influenced more by the darker side of music and bands like ARCADE FIRE, INTERPOL or EDITORS. On ‘Big TV’, the London based Post-Punk trio presented an extended acoustic space. Singer and guitarist Harry McVeigh, whose voice it often compared with JOY DIVISION’s Ian Curtis, bassist Charles Cave and drummer / keyboarder Jack Lawrence-Brown are over a long and successful journey and now they want to take one more step forward. - Details

Sivert Høyem
After a successful series of concerts in March and some festivals this summer (‘Down the Rabbit Hole’ and ‘Bruis’ in Maastricht coming up), the Dutch cannot get enough of the dark melodramatic blues rock of Mr Høyem and his band. The Norwegian rock singer released his magnum opus ‘Lioness’ earlier this year and he will be back at the main stage of Paradiso Amsterdam in November of this year.
