Up and coming multicultural blues rockers BLUES PILLS have announced the tracklist for the bands forthcoming self-titled debut album. The ten tracks of 'Blues Pills' will also feature a cover version of the CHUBBY CHECKER classic 'Gypsy'. “It's a song everyone in the band liked and we used to play it on our soundcheck. Slowly it worked itself into our set list, and now it's going to be on our debut album as well. Back in the days lots of bands covered each other to honor the other artist, and they did it with their own touch on it. Some examples are, JIMI HENDRIX 'All Along the Watchtower', JANIS JOPLIN 'Tell Mama', 'Summertime' and 'Ball and Chain', or JOE COCKER 'With a Little Help From My Friends', everyone was doing it with the right reason. For us, we want to honor CHUBBY CHECKER and also bring it back to life by doing the cover version the BLUES PILLS way. As the release of their third full-length Hail Death draws near, Vice's mega music gateway Noisey offers up a premiere of Still Reborn from New York black metal unit BLACK ANVIL. Stream Still Reborn at Noisey in the Netherlands here or Noisey USA here. A blasting onslaught of bestial riffs and scathing vocal torrents, the nine-minute track opens what is inarguably the band's most lethal and ambitious manifestation to date. The second single from Savage Gold is being exclusively premiered via The A.V. Club. The song "Deathtripper" can be heard here. Brooklyn, New York's TOMBS' are set to release their new album Savage Gold on June 10th (North America), June 9th (UK/ Europe/ World), and June 6th (Germany/ Benelux/ Finland). Renowned tattooist Thomas Hooper who is responsible for the band's previous album covers created the stunning artwork. Singer Mike Hill spoke about "Deathtripper”: "I actually wrote the lyrics for this song back in the late 90's when I was living in Boston. I was going through a period where I was sleeping on someone's couch and living out of a gym bag. I went through some old journal entries and found the lyrics written out. They seemed to fit the vibe of the instrumental tracks."

Diabolical Death/ Black Metal giants BELPHEGOR have just revealed the cover design of their forthcoming album 'CONJURING THE DEAD'. The artwork was created by Greek artist, Seth Siro Anton who also painted the cover of 'Pestapokalypse IV' in 2006. Helmuth comments: "The spectacular cover, the offensive lyrical content, the Death Musick. BELPHEGOR´s nine new sound collages are a new dimension of intensity and dynamics." Seth adds: "Once you can customize the basic principles of Renaissance painting and deriving energy/data from chaotic reservoir of unconscious,...you get BELPHEGOR´s "CONJURING THE DEAD" cover art."
