WOVENHAND is an American band from Denver which is founded as a side project of David Eugene Edwards, singer of 16 HORSEPOWER. The music is similar: A kind of Alternative Country, Americana, Roots Music or Low Folk. But there is no fixed pattern in the music and that’s why it’s very special. In the beginning the idea of WOVENHAND was to create a solo project which should have different guest musicians. In the meantime are they a band in a classical way. Now they are David, Ordy Garrison, Pascal Humbert, the Belgian Peter van Laerhoven and the newest member Neil Keener on bass.

Beastfest Hamburg 2014 with Trivium, Suicide Silence, Memphis May Fire and more…

Last year, the Elbriot Festival in Hamburg celebrated premiere and with such a great success, that it has got a little brother: for the first time in 2014 the Beastfest will take place. Also in Hamburg, the Markthalle will be the place to be. A perfect mix out of Metalcore: Trivium and Suicide Silence will perform as headliners. Until it is time for them, Memphis May Fire, Crossfaith, Huntress and many more will bring all the metal heads into the right mood.

Together with DARK TRANQUILITY and AT THE GATES, the men of IN FLAMES formed the basis for the well-known Göteborg-sound: brutal death metal with additional keys and raging IRON MAIDEN like guitars. Their signature sound, marked by classic albums such as ‘The Jester Race’ (1995) and ‘Whoracle’ (1997), proved to inspire a tremendous amount of modern metal bands.

The most colourful festival in the world takes place every year at the first weekend of August in Lisse, Netherlands. Not only all the bands, the stages and numerous offerings make this festival unique but the visitors themselves conduce to the big success of it. Once you have visited it, you will always come again. Thus the former insider’s tip became a rendezvous point for visitors from all over the world in order to enjoy a peaceful and wonderful weekend. Last year 28,000 people visited the CASTLEFEST. SUICIDE SILENCE will release 'You Can’t Stop Me', their first album to feature new vocalist Eddie Hermida (ex-ALL SHALL PERISH) and their first since the tragic loss of singer Mitch Lucker, on July 11 (Europe), July 14 (UK) and July 15, 2014 (North America) via Nuclear Blast Entertainment. 'You Can’t Stop Me' was produced and mixed by Steve Evetts (SEPULTURA, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, WARBRINGER) and features artwork by Tim Minarzik of Throne Media & Design. The album also includes some special guest appearances by Greg Puciato (THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN) and George "Corpsegrinder" Fisher (CANNIBAL CORPSE).
