Since the release of the latest album Black Waltz, Avatar have had massive success all over the world. The singles Smells Like a Freakshow and Let it Burn peaked on #26 on US commercial rock radio charts, where they also stayed for several weeks well ahead of more established bands in the scene. This was followed by extensive and successful US tours. The biggest break through came when Avenged Sevenfold personally picked Avatar as support band on their sold out arena tour in Europe late 2013. Avatar got a reception far beyond expected by the crowds, which resulted in bookings on high profiled festivals such as Download Festival and Rock on the Range in 2014, among own headline dates of which most are soon sold out. More highly profiled tours and festivals are soon to be confirmed.

New York hardcore legends MADBALL have entered the studio to begin work on their 8th full length release, their first since 2010's 'Empire'. The band is recording basic tracks with UNEARTH's talented guitarist Ken Susi at System Recordings in Grafton, Massachusetts. Additional recordings will take place at Pinecrust Studios, in Miami, Florida with Jonathan Nuñez at the helm.

Polish death metal legends VADER just announced to release a special 7“ single off their upcoming album “TIBI ET IGNI”. The 7” single is titled “Go To Hell” and includes following songs:

Side A: “Where Angels Weep”
Side B: “Triumph Of Death”

On March 10, 2014 Polish Tech Death masters DECAPITATED hit Hertz Studio, located at Bialystok in their native Poland, to record their sixth record. The yet untitled creation is set for a release in September via Nuclear Blast. In another note, the band also announces drummer Michal Lysejko as a full-time member of DECAPITATED. Michal has already joined the foursome in time for their tour with LAMB OF GOD in January.
