H.O.M Fest announces the first bands confirmed for 2014 and also the first international band is added; the Finnish band Ensiferum in their returning back to Spain to blast out the Castillian Plateau with their incredible Pagan anthems. Furthermore, we can confirm one of the new sensations of the Spanish Thrash Metal bands, Mutant Squad. Human, the new band of the former Avalanch singer, Ramón Lage and also the local band Bumper, the project of one of the best Spanish drummers, who share his talent also with his other band, Ñu. We will be announcing more local and international bands in a few days so stay tuned.

MultiColor was created by Russian musician Anton Guskov to represent the multitude of influences that ultimately shaped his sounds and ideas and as a result the first EP ‘Cyclicity‘ was complete, representing a thoughtful projection of Anton’s inner world. With ‘Cyclicity‘, MultiColor‘s deliberate placement of sounds open an auditory field that not only creates an impression of space, but contracts and expands with a blend of glitch and guitar motifs over deep rhythms and warm undertones. A truly three-dimensional sound that brings to mind a radio broadcast from a sinking submarine. Bubbles rise up though the murky water and break at the surface, as the craft disappears into the deep. Once or twice, the sounds threaten of something more sinister, but never takes you there. Steel Panther

STEEL PANTHER, the self-proclaimed “hottest band out of Hollywood since Mötley Crüe, Guns ‘N Roses and Poison ruled the Sunset Strip” is coming to The Netherlands again. After Fortarock 2012, Melkweg and 013, this show will take place at Tivoli Vredenburg in Utrecht. The band of over-the-top hair metal revivalists has released a second album ‘Balls Out’ in 2011, thereby settling their name for good. STEEL PANTHER’s 4th studio album ‘All you can eat’ is expected in April 2014. Over a short period of time, the glam rockers became famous in Europe as well for their exaggerated on-stage personas.

Sivert Høyem

Sivert Høyem is well known as the front man of rock band MADRUGADA, one of the biggest Norwegian dark rock bands. When guitar player and founder of the band Robert Burås died in 2007, MADRUGADA unfortunately fell apart as a band. Singer Sivert Høyem took up a successful solo career and his music is characterized by the specific sound of his former band. His musical style can best be described as dark and melodramatic. In March 2014, Sivert released his 5th solo album ‘Endless love’ which will be promoted with a European tour this spring/summer. Dutch fans get no less than three opportunities to see Sivert Høyem with his full band in June.
