The motto of this year’s festival is “One Day To Remember –Two Days To Rock!” to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the festival in the atrium of the Schloss Broich (Castle Broich). Appropriate to this anniversary the inclined audience can revel in memories as well look forward to something new. Thus there will be on the Friday, the first day of the festival, mainly bands that impressed the older as well the younger history of this festival.

KLOGR — the Italian five-piece featuring frontman Rusty  — will release second full lenght album, “Black Snow“, on March 2014. The alternative metal combo is also proud to announce that the new album release will be followed by a European Black Snow Tour of 23 dates with Prong. Says Rusty, about the title of the album: “Man has contaminated everything and his contamination was not always a positive thing. What was meant to be evolution is revealing itself to be an environmental and intellectual pollution heading to self destruction." And adds: "I am very proud of this album and we can’t wait to share it with you.” KLOGR‘s first album, “Till You Decay”, was released in worldwide on November 11, 2011 via Zeta Factory, followed, one year later, by the release of EP “Till You Turn” featuring alternative rock band Timecut. CD Artwork of Klogr’s new album “Black Snow” was designed by Flush Design.

Swedish Folk Metallers FALCONER have completed the songwriting for their upcoming, eighth album. Prepare yourselves for some classical FALCONER quality with all it's trademarks and their most metal album in years! Comments guitarist Stefan Weinerhall: "The 8th album 'Black Moon Rising' is finally written. This time we have even made some preproductions of the material to test it out in advance. Some titles are: There's a crow on the barrow, Age of runes, Scoundrel and the squire. We will enter the studio in January and release it in June 2014. As said before all songs are in English this time after the last album's one-off with only Swedish songs.

Northcote Festival is excited to reveal the second batch of bands for 2014. Two weeks ago, Risk It!, War Charge and Bleak Reality were announced among others as first names on the bill. Eight more bands are added to the line-up now. The festival takes place on March 29th at Energiehuis in Dordrecht (NL).
