EDITORS are a studied four-piece hailing from England’s agrestic periphery. Musically, the band’s sound is clearly reminiscent of JOY DIVISION, ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN and early R.E.M not least due to the dark baritone timbre of singer Tom Smith catering for a pinch of melancholy besides the energy of the songs. The songs of the band blend the futility of life with the constant possibility of relief and the hope for better days to come. Without any didactic aspiration, EDITORS create with their music and lyrics dramatic situations without resolutions, giving their listeners the chance of association with their own experiences.

On April 18th EDGUY will release their tenth studio album "SPACE POLICE - Defenders Of The Crown". Last weekend some journalists had the chance to listen to the album for the first time and the press reaction was amazing. There are several good reasons to believe that this album is going to be one of the strongest and heaviest EDGUY albums of all time. Secretly EDGUY have sneaked into the studio to record the follow up to their chartbreaking 2011 album "Age Of The Joker" (a.o. #3 in Germany). More details are going to be revealed soon.

Iconic thrash metal band TANKARD are set to enter Studio “23” in Frankfurt/ Germany to start recording this week. Taking inspiration from the motto “never change a winning team”, the guys kick off the recording again with producer Michael Mainx (BÖHSE ONKELZ, DER W, D-A-D, DISBELIEF), who also produced the last album. The new album will be titled “R.I.B.” and is set to be released in summer 2014 via Nuclear Blast.

With ‘Schlaflos’, JENNIFER ROSTOCK present their 4th album and are also present again on stage in Germany. The *_*-Tour in 2013 was completely sold out, and that without a new album. That might be the reason, why they stop two times in Hamburg during this current tour. On 8th and 9th February it is possible to rock the Große Freiheit 36 with tattoo-rich front woman Jennifer Weist (and for heaven's sake, do not call her Jenny) and her four boys Johannes “Joe“ Walter (keyboard), Alex Voigt (guitars), Christoph Deckert (bass) and Christopher "Baku" Kohl (drums).
