Release Date for 'Im Auge des Sturms' is set

Right at the perceived beginning of spring comes the third newsletter of the year. And here at the very first comes the main news: The new album „Im Auge des Sturms" („In the Eye of the Storm") will be released on August 29th 2014 by the band's long time label partner Drakkar! At the end of summer the band will present an album to you, which will be different from its predecessors. LETZTE INSTANZ completely changed theirway of composing, always striving for a true, clear, rocking sound.

Boston’s "punk soul explosion" WHITE DYNOMITE have announced their signing with California-based label Ripple Music and the addition of a second guitarist. Hard rock label Ripple Music, known for their excellent taste and quality of heavy rock music, have signed the super group and will re-release White Dynomite's debut album in late spring of 2014. Pressed on white vinyl and including extra tracks, this dose of motor-punk soul will be an instant must-have for music fans who like it hard, fast-n-loud. White Dynomite have also officially announced the addition of Jay Fortin to the band. The ex-Scissorfight guitarist joins an already-heavy, veteran line up that includes former members of Roadsaw, Wrecking Crew and Fast Acting Fuses. With this twin-guitar front line in place, the group promises to pack more action than previously thought possible. More details on the upcoming debut by White Dynomite to come this spring!

Dutch symphonic metallers EPICA have launched the first episode of their studio documentary. The documentary gives a behind the scenes look at the recording process of the band’s sixth studio album 'The Quantum Enigma'. It also previews the first music from the upcoming album. The band recorded 'The Quantum Enigma' together with upcoming producer Joost van den Broek at the Sandlane Recording Facilities in the Netherlands. The album has been mixed by Jacob Hansen (VOLBEAT, HATESPHERE a.o.).

German epic metal heroes EQUILIBRIUM are currently working on the follow up to their highly acclaimed 2010 album, “Rekreatur”. In few days, the guys will enter the Helion Studios Munich to kick off the recordings with guitar player and producer René Berthiaume. The band states: “The songs are written, 13 tracks are planned for the album. We can hardly wait to finally release another full-length record after four years! In the past we’ve written a lot, so that the record will be very varying. With some songs we return to our roots, others will be a sonic surprise. Next week Robse will hit the studio to record vocals and to give the songs life. Furthermore there are some other things planned for Equi this year, you can really look forward to!” The untitled album will be released this summer via Nuclear Blast.

German Metal Icon Udo Dirkschneider (U.D.O.) signs a long-term contract with AFM Records. The new deal includes the release of 3 albums plus 3 dvds. "We feel very comfortable with AFM Records and we appreciate the good vibes" says Udo Dirkschneider. "The mutual understanding is perfect and our individual wishes and ideas are respected and converted. This is obviously hard to find in the music business nowadays". Jochen Richert is very proud that U.D.O. remains part of the AFM family. "We wanted such an extensive deal with U.D.O. because  the cooperation has proved fertile in the past. U.D.O. is one of our biggest acts, sales figures have grown constantly; this proves that – together – we are successful!"
