electronic sounds in music - earthy, mystical and beseeching to playful, floating and delicate. Founded in 1991, always developing its own style, the band is present on the Dark Wave scene and particularly withinthe Neoclassical movement. They’ve performed throughout Europe and the American continent. „TEMPEST“ presents a wide spectrum of expressive sounds played on authentic and electronic instruments.

XANDRIA - Domain's Steven Wussow new man on bass guitar!

xandria stevenSteven Wussow is the new bass guitar player in Germany's symphonic metal act XANDRIA, replacing the band's yearlong four stringer Nils Middelhauve, who left the band last summer.
Wussow, known for his jobs with Domain (and in the past also with Shylock and Illectronic Rock) will debut on stage with XANDRIA in April and May when the band is going to play Russia, Belarus, Argentina and Brazil. The 32year old confesses: "On stage i feel at home and it's the streets where my heart is. Having passed a few lights and crossroads in my search, i am happy to finally have found my partners in crime i was looking for."  Says XANDRIA: "We are thrilled to have found THE candidate we had been chasing for over the past months and we are excited to start our upcoming live and recording endeavors with Steven." Xandria is said to hit the studio this year still to record the follow up album to critically acclaimed "Neverworld's End", one of the genre's top releases in 2012. A date of release is supposed to be unveiled soon.

GOTHMINISTER - On the way to Eurovision Song Contest? / new single available!

gothminister 2012The Norwegian lawyer Bjørn Alexander Brem and his band GOTHMINISTER are in for a possibly shockingly different show in the Norwegian EVS semifinals in Larvik, today, February 2nd – prepare for some visual surprises with zombies and undead... the winners of tonight's semifinal will participate in the Norwegian final later, whose winner then will repesent Norway at this year's Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö (Sweden). The brand new GOTHMINISTER song "Utopia" (which will be performed by the band in the semifinal) is available nowe as digital single.

THE NEW BLACK - Release "III: Cut Loose" on March 15th

thenewblack'III: Cut Loose' will be the title of the new album by Germany's heavy rockers THE NEW BLACK. It will be released on March 15th via AFM. Mixing duties were handled by Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Pretty Maids) who commented: "These guys completely floored me with their stylish mix of both modern metal and vintage rock 'n' roll. This is a band that could get big if things are done the right way!"
