Last year …AND YOU WILL KNOW US BY THE TRAIL OF DEAD released their critically acclaimed new studio album Lost Songs, a record which Kerrang declared ‘sharp, focused and driven’ and ‘a truly individual voice’. At the end of February, the band will return to the UK for a short run of intimate dates culminating with an appearance at London’s Brixton Academy for an NME- sponsored show supporting The Cribs. Following that the band will return to Europe for some dates in March & April, where Trail Of Dead will be bringing special guests Turbowolf out for the UK shows and The Coathangers out for all of their headlining dates. Today, OMD unveiled the cover artwork of their upcoming album 'English Electric', created by Tom Skipp and their creative director, legendary Peter Saville. 'English Electric' will be released on 5th April 2013 via BMG Rights Management. The album contains 12 songs of pure synth pop... somewhere between electronic ballads and modern club sounds. Andy McClusky about the artwork: "It fits perfect that the cover of 'English Electric' is a contemporary destillation of traditional danger signals".
