Brisbane's most enduring yet underground dark alternative outfit, The Jesus Cleaver, today announced the release of their bombastic new digital single, "Confidence". The track is heavily influenced by the kink/BDSM/fetish scene. "It's basically a love song", explained founding singer/songwriter, John P Shea, "but with a savage twist". Shea said that the song was written in response to the abundance of deeply personal tweets on the subject. "Some of the people I follow on Twitter are posting very intimate tweets about their lives. If you have any sort of voyeuristic tendencies, then it's difficult not to be unmoved by some of these." he said.

Irish blackened folk metalers CELTACHOR have revealed the title and artwork for their upcoming debut album called "Nine Waves From The Shore"... Recorded between 2011 -2012 in the bands own studio in Dublin, it will be self released by the band on November 25th. The concept for the album deals with the Landing of the Gael and the main heroes and characters as part of that saga. The artwork was painted by the band's drummer Anais Chareyre. It depicts the Battle of Tailtin, the armies of the Men of Dea against the Men of the Gael being over watched by the goddess Danu rising from the hills and mountains of Eire.The band have been working hard since 2010 melding the influences of black, doom, folk metal into one unified force. Inspired by Irish Mythology and its sagas, Celtachor hope to cover new ground in 2013 and spread their message to Europe and beyond reciting the ancient tales of Ireland in their own voice and way.

Extreme metal warriors HATE have just finished recording their new opus entitled "Solarflesh". The follow-up to highly acclaimed "Erebos" (2010) will be released early next year via Napalm Records. The band’s frontman ATF Sinner comments: "We have just done mixes and mastering on the new material; our first album for Napalm. I believe “Solarflesh” is the most insane and haunting record we’ve done so far. It’s nothing but pure darkness… We’re extremely satisfied with this 61 minutes monster (12 songs) that we’ve put to life. Now we’re working on a documentary about the creation of “Solarflesh”, its ideological sides, the band’s history, touring etc. It’s going to be much more than just a studio report. We want it to be an in-depth interview revealing some unknown facts, hidden meanings etc. I’m sure people will find it interesting."
