Relapse Records is extremely proud to announce the signing of experimental, dark ambient / noise trio LOCRIAN. LOCRIAN formed in late 2005 and consist of André Foisy (Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Arp Avatar, Electronics), Terence Hannum (Vocals, Synthesizers, Piano, Organ, Mellotron and Tapes) and Steven Hess (Drums, Electronics). The group, located in Chicago, IL and Baltimore, MD has released over 20 recordings on an eclectic array of labels in their relatively short but prolific career, including a recent split with label-mates HORSEBACK.

The Sunpilots' 2nd album 'King of the Sugarcoated Tongues' will be released on April 27th. An album set in a dystopian future where society has collapsed, 'King of the Sugarcoated Tongues' is an 8 chapter story about the human need for security and the freedoms we are willing to trade in return. The story began on Friday March 2nd when the first chapter was released as a free download, new chapters following weekly until April 27th when the entire album will be released as a free download. Additionally 'King of the Sugarcoated Tongues' will be available as a digipack in stores from April 27th. Previously known as Gothic Festival and taking place in Belgium Waregem, the festival changed its name into Shadowplay Festival and also moved location to the expo in Belgium Kortrijk, just a few kilometres away from the old venue.Shadowplay festival was taking place for the first time in 2011 under this name and now is going into the second round, taking place from 13th to 15th July 2012. The line-up is already promising big names. Besides the Shadowplay Festival, also Factory Noise is taking place at the same location.

Century Media Records is proud to announce a worldwide deal with Florida Death Metal icons MASSACRE. The band is resurrected with two of the original band members: band founders Rick Rozz (guitar) and Terry Butler (bass, also in Obituary). The line-up is completed with Ed Webb ((ex-Diabolic, also in Destined To Ruin and Generichrist) on vocals duties and Mike Mazzonetto (ex-Pain Principle) on drums. Everyone who saw the new line-up at recent local shows in Florida or on this year's 70,000 Tons Of Metal cruise knows that this is the ultimate line-up to continue the band's legacy with a new album! The first 2 songs, called 'Back From Beyond' and 'Succumb To Rapture', are already recorded at CGM Studios in Florida and will be released as a 7" this August 2012 in time for MASSACRE live at Wacken Open Air in Germany (followed by more shows to be announced soon).
