With the self-titled debut album the italian A RAINY DAY IN BERGEN offer fans of guitar-free indie a very special delicacy, which doesn’t have to hide behind other bands. The band is definitely related to classic as well as electronic influences and out of this was made a mixture, that abducts the listener into its very own world. The project was formed in 2006 under the name Underscore. "A mixture of alternative-electro new wave and prog rock with an absolutely not banal pop attitude" , characterized by "an absolutely recognizable and out of ordinary sound", getting its best through "songs taking who wants in an oneiric atmosphere".

After a four year hiatus, SIGUR ROS are returning with a new album entitled ‘Valtari’. The album will be released as double-vinyl, CD and as a digital download on 25th May 2012 via EMI/Parlophone. The first track, ‘Ekki Múkk’, is now streaming on the band’s website. The band describes the album as “an avalanche in slow motion”. The band’s bassist Georg Hólm writes, ”I really can’t remember why we started this record, I no longer know what we were trying to do back then. I do know session after session went pear-shaped, we lost focus and almost gave up… did give up for a while. But then something happened and form started to emerge, and now I can honestly say that it’s the only Sigur Rós record I have listened to for pleasure in my own house after we’ve finished it.
