The reigning kings of technical, historically-themed brutality, NILE, are proud to announce they are touring Asia this April/May. This marks the band’s first time in these markets and the guys are extremely excited to be playing for their Asian metal brothers. “The whole idea of spreading NILE’s music into this part of the world has been a long time coming” commented the band. “We are extremely pleased to go to there and are looking forward to an amazing cultural exchange and experience.” NILE are currently in the studio wrapping up the mix of their latest effort At The Gate of Sethu with producer Neil Kernon. The album is tentatively scheduled to be released the 2nd quarter of 2012.

GOTTHARD is in the final stages of the production of the new album “Firebirth”, which will be released on 1st June by Nuclear Blast/Warner Music. It is the eagerly-awaited first album with Nic Maeder. The album was produced in Yellow House Studios, owned by the band, in Lugano, Switzerland, by guitarist/songwriter Leo Leoni and Paul Lani, who has previously worked with GOTTHARD on earlier albums, (incl. “G-spot” and “Homerun”).The hearts and souls of the most successful Swiss rock group are afire once more: the new songs in “Firebirth” are stirring and earthy as the mountain, like early GOTTHARD once more.

The Oslo-based black/death metal act NAUMACHIA (originally from Poland), finally returns on stage with a fresh new line up. The new drummer Anders Johansen replaced Łukasz "Icanraz" Sarnacki (Hermh, Christ Agony). After releasing two albums with Empire Records (Wrathorn, Callous Kagathos) and a third one with Witching Hour Productions (Black Sun Rising), Naumachia is currently looking for a new label and they are working on a new album which is going to be recorded in the end of 2012 in Hertz Studio, Poland (Behemoth, Vader). Naumachia has just launched a new website, prepared by Michał"Xaay" Loranc, known for his collaboration with Behemoth, Nile and Kamelot. Croatian female fronted doom/gothic metaller “Ashes You Leave” welcome Saša Vukosav on drums. Here's the band's statement:
It’s with both pride and joy that we welcome Saša Vukosav, one of Croatia’s most talented drummers, to the AYL family. Saša started playing drums at the age of 16 while he was living in Dubrovnik. He moved to Rijeka, to study, where he joined the alternative/metal band Father and played with them for eight years. In that period he recorded one album with them and toured Europe quite extensively. During that time he participated in various projects besides Father and that is when he got involved with AYL for the first time.
