Dick Brave & The Backbeats
The band DICK BRAVE & THE BACKBEATS was invented at the end of 2002 by popular German musician SASHA. The name’s inspired by NICK CAVE & THE BAD SEEDS. The band attracted first attention with the album ‘Dick This’, a rockabilly album that would become widely popular, not least because of SASHA’s status as a musician, but there’s always been a certain fun factor to the band’s music and they were sure to reproduce the energy of the songs on stage as well. It is very safe to assume they’re going to do that again when hitting Dortmund in November.

Carpark North & Rubylux
The music of CARPARK NORTH is an experience. It comforts you if you’re lonely; it’s your friend and confidant when you need someone and you know it’s going to be there for you in an emergency situation. CARPARK NORTH are the “Wuthering Heights” of epic electro rock, including heartache, stormy riffs, rousing melodies and harmonies that won’t leave anybody untouched. It’s hard to break down the sound of Danish Lau Højen (Vocals, Guitar), Søren Balsner (Bass, Synths) and Morten Thorhauge (Drums) to a simple formula.

Incubus & fiN
INCUBUS was formed in 1991 by singer Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer Jose Pasillas in Calabasas, California (USA). The band’s first album ‘Fungus Amongus’ was characterized by a mix of alternative rock songs (released in 1995). Over the years, INCUBUS became famous as a cross-over band with many different styles but also the typical ‘INCUBUS’ sound that binds everything together. Several of their songs made it into the billboard charts. After their sixth studio album ‘Light grenades’, INCUBUS band members took a break from touring to focus on school, family and other activities. Amongst others, front man Boyd recorded a solo album entitled ‘The Wild Trapeze’ (release in 2010). Also, a greatest hits album was released in 2009.
