FIREWIND front man Apollo Papathanasio has been forced to miss the band's imminent European tour due to family issues. Apollo will be back with FIREWIND for their North American "Frets Of Fury" tourdates in October. Apollo's replacement for the European "Defiance Over Europe" dates is the hugely talented singer Mats Leven (Therion, Yngwie Malmsteen).
FIREWIND's European tour starts out next week on September 9th in the UK and will additionally cover The Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Italy and France with support coming from Swedish metallers and labelmates Wolf. European fans of LACUNA COIL should already mark October 17th red in their calendars as this will be the date "Trip The Darkness" will be released – their first digital single off the upcoming album "Dark Adrenaline"!
Still, this is not the end of today's good news: As it has been too long since LACUNA COIL has played their native Italy the band want to give a very special treat to their Italian fans: an extensive tour throughout Italy! Due to the overwhelming success since the launch of the self-titled release from FOR ALL WE KNOW, the project led by Ruud Jolie from Within Temptation, the band has just inked a distribution deal with ROUGHTRADE which makes the CD available worldwide, for physical copies as well as digital downloads on all important download platforms per September 2, 2011.
For All We Know is a project by Within Temptation guitarist Ruud Jolie. He has recorded a lot of songs and albums with other artists, but the urge to write and record his own material has always been present.
